Hotfoot Baseball is a 3D cartoon baseball game by DParrot in which you bat for a national team, swinging with a single click and choosing when each runner leaves his base. You start by picking a country from a grid of 18 flags, from Japan and the USA to Nicaragua and Great Britain. Each round then gives you a stated target on the scoreboard. In our test the first round read "MEX - NCA, 1st ROUND" with the order "Score 2 runs before 6 outs!" That target is what separates this game from the other sports titles on What Games Play: it is about batting and base running against a run-and-out quota, not about pitching, fielding or a long nine-inning game.

How to play Hotfoot Baseball
A match is a string of at-bats. Your job is to put the ball in play and then move runners around the diamond fast enough to hit the round's run target before the outs run out.

Before the first pitch, the scoreboard shows both countries and the goal for the round, such as 2 runs before 6 outs.

Press the left mouse button, or tap the screen on a phone, as the ball arrives to swing the bat.

Once a runner reaches a base, click that player again to send him on to the next base. Leave him where he is if the throw looks too close.
