Roadwork driving · Coverage and supplies
Road Restore: a useful route leaves a repaired road behind
Steer a construction truck across a damaged worksite and let its equipment do the repair work. The goal is useful coverage, not a fast lap: inspect unfinished areas, keep the correct supplies available and decide whether to open another sector or stay for a more complete restoration.
Separate driving from completed work
- Construction equipment operates automatically when it covers suitable unfinished work
- The worksite percentage measures restoration tasks rather than distance driven
- Asphalt and paint have separate supplies and labeled refill bays
- The publisher lists 70 sectors, vehicle upgrades, cosmetic skins and repeatable contracts
Organize a repair run from the depot
Read the worksite map and current task before driving repeatedly over the same strip.
- 1
Identify the remaining work
Check the overview map, current task and completion percentage. Aim for areas still marked for repair rather than simply driving to the far end of the road.
- 2
Cover damage with the truck’s tool
Drive across unfinished asphalt so the automatic equipment can reach it. Release the movement input when you need to stop over a stubborn patch; repair work can continue while the truck is stationary.
- 3
Park at the appropriate refill bay
When asphalt runs low, return to ASPHALT REFILL. For paint, use PAINT REFILL when that stage is available. Stop in the bay and release the driving input so the supply can refill.
- 4
Follow the active construction stage
Later worksites add painted markings and, where required, barriers. Check the displayed objective and equipment before revisiting unfinished areas; a repair tool is not a substitute for the paint or barrier task.
- 5
Choose progress or a fuller finish
The first star opens the route onward. You can continue when the gate becomes available or remain to finish the outstanding work and improve the sector’s star result.
Steer the truck and stop where work remains
Keys or a dragged joystick
- Use the arrow keys, WASD or ZQSD to direct the roadwork truck.
- Alternatively, hold the left mouse button over the game area and drag to operate its virtual joystick.
- Release the directional keys or pointer input to stop moving and position the tool over unfinished ground.
- Read the labeled depot bays before driving into a refill or upgrade area.
Touch input in the official instructions
- The publisher specifies touching and dragging inside the game area to steer with the virtual joystick.
- Lift your finger to stop the truck, particularly when parking in a supply bay or working on a small remaining patch.
A worksite with more than one task
Restoration grows through coverage
A long drive over finished ground does not replace repairing the missing areas. Use the map to locate gaps and position the working tool accurately.
Different materials for different stages
Asphalt repairs and painted lines draw from their corresponding supplies. Labeled refill stations make it possible to replenish the material the active task actually needs.
A choice between opening and finishing
Unlocking the next sector does not mean every task behind you is complete. Stay for a higher star result, or return to discovered sectors through the level selection.
Make each depot trip worthwhile
- Work in adjacent strips so narrow untouched gaps do not become scattered across the map.
- If the truck moves but the percentage does not, check its material supply, current equipment and the type of unfinished task.
- Stop inside a refill bay instead of repeatedly driving through it without letting the pump work.
- Compare an upgrade’s cost with the task slowing you down: coverage, working output and carrying capacity solve different problems.
Who this roadwork route suits
Players who enjoy visible restoration
Damaged areas become useful road surfaces as the truck works, with map coverage giving a concrete measure of what still needs attention.
Drivers who prefer planning over racing
A productive route balances working passes, supply returns and optional upgrades. Positioning the truck matters more than reaching a finish line at top speed.
Worksite completion and sector stars
The worksite percentage follows completed construction work. The star milestones are 60% for the first star and opening the next sector, then 80% for the second. Three stars require all repair and paint work, together with any barriers required by that sector. Extra barrier work presented as a bonus is a separate objective. Earnings can fund the equipment offered at the upgrade bay. A material warning means you need construction supplies; it is not a petrol gauge or a reason to discard an otherwise useful repair run.
Questions before another repair pass
Does reaching the end of the road finish a Road Restore sector?+
Driving distance alone does not complete the worksite. Repair the unfinished areas shown by the map and fulfill the current construction tasks; the star indicators track that progress.
What should I do when the truck runs out of asphalt?+
Return to the bay marked ASPHALT REFILL and stop inside it. The publisher describes refills as free. Paint uses its own PAINT REFILL bay when paint work is available.
Do I need to hold a separate repair button while driving?+
The construction tools operate automatically over suitable work. Steering and positioning bring the tool to the area that needs repair; you can release movement and let it work in place.
Must I earn all three stars before leaving for the next sector?+
The first star opens the next sector. Continuing early and staying to finish the remaining tasks are different choices; discovered sectors can be selected again.
Are road markings and guardrails part of every opening level?+
These tasks become relevant as the campaign introduces them. Follow the worksite’s active objectives, and use the relevant equipment when paint or barrier work appears.
How much content does the official listing describe?+
The GameMonetize page lists 70 sectors across several environments, truck improvements, skins and repeatable contracts. The game’s unlocked levels and job menus show what your current progress makes available.
