Tetra Blocks: falling shapes, full rows and a score goal per level
Tetra Blocks is a falling-block puzzle by DoonDookStudio in which four-square shapes drop into a well 10 cells wide and 20 tall, and you clear any row you fill completely. You slide each shape left or right, rotate it, and either let it fall or send it straight down with a hard drop; a ghost outline at the bottom shows where it will land. Alongside an Endless mode, it has numbered levels with a target and a move budget: Level 1 asks for 200 points within 11 moves. A Hold box stores one shape for later and a Next panel previews three more. Unlike Wood Blocks Jam, a sliding puzzle with no gravity, everything in Tetra Blocks falls, and GamePix notes that the blocks speed up as you go.

How to play Tetra Blocks
In level mode each game has a score goal and a limited number of shapes. Clear rows quickly enough to reach the goal before the moves run out.
- 1
Pick a mode
Choose Level 1 for a goal-based game or Endless for an open-ended one. Level 1 opens with the goal Score 200 Points.
- 2
Steer the falling shape
Press Left or Right to shift it, Down to move it lower and Up to rotate. The ghost outline at the bottom marks its landing spot.
- 3
Drop and clear rows
Press Space to hard-drop. When a row across the well is full, it clears and adds to your score.

What Tetra Blocks adds to the formula
Score goals with a move limit
Levels give you a target and a shape budget. Level 1 is 200 points in 11 moves, and every placed shape uses one.
Hold and Next panels
One shape can be parked in the Hold box, and the Next column shows the three shapes coming after it.
Ghost outline
An outline at the bottom of the well shows where the current shape will land; the help screen recommends it for choosing a rotation.
Endless mode
Endless sits on the main menu beside Level 1 as a second way to play, outside the numbered stages.
Tips for Tetra Blocks
- Trust the ghost outline. Rotate until the ghost fills a gap cleanly, then hard-drop with Space.
- Count your moves on goal levels. With 11 shapes for 200 points on Level 1, each drop has to set up a row clear.
- Keep one column open. Leaving a single empty column lets the long four-in-a-row shape clear several rows when it lands.
- Park awkward shapes in Hold. If the current shape fits nowhere, click Hold and play the next one first.
- Read Next before you drop. Three shapes of preview are enough to plan where the following piece will go.
Who is Tetra Blocks for?
Fans of classic falling-block games
The familiar rotate, drop and clear-a-row rules, with Hold and a ghost outline.
Keyboard players
Every action has a key: arrows to move and rotate, Space to drop.
Players who want short goals
Level mode turns a run into a target — 200 points in 11 moves on Level 1.
Points, goals and moves
Each level in Tetra Blocks shows two panels at the top: Moves, counting down the shapes you have left, and Goal, a progress bar toward the target score. On Level 1 the goal is 200 points and you start with 11 moves; hard-dropping the first shape took the moves to 10 and the bar to 4/200. GamePix says full lines raise your score and move you up through the levels, and that the falling speed increases as you advance.
