Super Droid Adventure: chase down the boss who flattened the robot's castle
Super Droid Adventure is a 2D pixel platformer by Magnific Studios in which a small yellow robot sets out to defeat the powerful boss who destroyed his castle, breaking blocks for coins and power-ups and surviving traps along the way. The story is told in an opening scene: a villain riding a cloud drops a spiked ball on the droid's domed home, which sinks into the desert sand while the robot looks on with a question mark over his head. Level 1 is set among pyramids and cacti, with a green-helmeted enemy, round spiky cacti and a teal pipe. Where its studio-mates Super Oliver World and Ringo Starfish use beaches and islands, this one is a desert game, and it starts from a black screen that asks you to press Enter or touch to continue.

What sets Super Droid Adventure apart
A revenge story with a boss
The goal is set from the first scene: the villain on the cloud destroyed the droid's home, and beating that boss is how you reclaim the castle.
Blocks hold the power-ups
Rows of bricks and target-marked blocks float above the desert floor. Magnific Studios describes breaking them to find power-ups as part of the core loop.
A desert instead of a beach
Pyramids, dunes, cacti and teal pipes set this apart from the grass-and-sea levels of the studio's other platformers.
Three jump keys
Up, Space and Z all made the robot jump in our test, so you can choose whichever sits best under your fingers.
Tips for Super Droid Adventure
- Break the target blocks. The blocks with a target symbol sit above the path in level 1; hit them from below to look for power-ups.
- Mind the helmeted enemy. A green-helmeted enemy stands beside the teal pipe in level 1; jump clear of it rather than walking into it.
- Pick one jump key. Up, Space and Z all work; sticking to one avoids a missed jump when you switch mid-level.
- Collect ring coins as you go. Each one we picked up raised both the coin counter and the score by one.
- Search the corners. GamePix's hint is that hidden nooks hold extra power.
Who is Super Droid Adventure for?
Robot fans
The hero is a small yellow droid, and the villain arrives on a cloud to wreck his home.
Players who want a clear final goal
The whole run points toward one boss fight to reclaim the castle.
Fans of Magnific Studios platformers
Same studio as Super Billy Boy, Super Oliver World and Ringo Starfish, with a desert theme.
Coins, lives and power-ups
The HUD shows a green heart with ×5 lives, a five-digit score, a counter for the ring-shaped coins and a yellow item box. In our test six coins took the coin counter to 6 and the score to 00006. Power-ups come from breaking blocks. The final target is the boss who destroyed the castle. No source we checked lists the number of worlds, a timer or how defeating enemies is scored.
