Ringo Starfish: sail to Coconut Island and collect every crystal
Ringo Starfish is a 2D side-scrolling platformer by Magnific Studios in which Ringo, a pink starfish in a red visor, explores a mysterious island he believes hides treasure, fighting enemies, avoiding traps and collecting the crystals scattered through each level. His toolkit goes beyond run and jump: CrazyGames lists firepower, swimming and an invincibility power, and the in-game Controls screen adds a double jump. Every level has a checkpoint. The game opens with Ringo sailing a small boat to the island, then drops you into Level 1, Coconut Island, with a rope bridge over the sea. Unlike Super Oliver World and Baby Chicco Adventures from the same studio, Ringo has a three-heart health bar on top of his lives counter.

What sets Ringo Starfish apart
Double jump built in
The Controls screen shows a double jump (Up then Up, or A then A on a pad) with Ringo spinning in mid-air, so gaps can be longer than a single hop.
Health bar and lives
The HUD shows a three-heart health bar next to a ×5 lives counter. That gives two separate measures of how much trouble Ringo can take.
Crystals to find
Three empty crystal outlines sit in the top-left corner of the HUD. Collecting the crystals scattered through a level is part of the goal.
Swim, shoot and turn invincible
CrazyGames lists firepower, a swimming skill and an invincibility power among Ringo's abilities, plus a checkpoint in every level.
Tips for Ringo Starfish
- Save the double jump. Use a single jump for short gaps and keep the second press for when the first arc falls short.
- Shoot across the bridge. An enemy waits on the rope bridge in Coconut Island; fire with X before you walk onto the planks.
- Reach the checkpoint. Every level has one, so the stretch before it is where to be careful.
- Look for hidden passages. GamePix suggests secret routes hold extra crystals, which fill the empty outlines in the HUD.
- Try a gamepad. All four moves have pad buttons listed on the Controls screen, so you can play the whole game without the keyboard.
Who is Ringo Starfish for?
Collectors
Players who like filling every slot: each level shows three crystal outlines waiting to be filled.
Players who want more moves than jump-and-run
Double jump, shooting and swimming give more options than a basic platformer hero.
Controller users
The game lists gamepad buttons for walking, jumping, double jumping and shooting.
Crystals, hearts and score
Ringo's HUD shows five things at once: three crystal outlines, a three-heart health bar, a lives counter (×5 at the start), a coin counter and a score. In our test the score and coin count both read 2 after two coins. Crystals are the collectible CrazyGames names as the aim of each island. No source says what finding all crystals unlocks or how many levels there are beyond the paged Level Select.
