Protect My Dog: draw a wall, then survive the swarm
Protect My Dog is a physics drawing puzzle in which you sketch a line with the mouse to shield a cartoon dog from bees, lava and other hazards. The game's own title screen calls it Save The Dog. On level 1 a beehive hangs above the dog; the moment you lift the mouse button, the line you drew drops under gravity and the hive releases its bees, which fly straight at the dog while a 10-second alarm clock counts down. Keep them off until the clock reaches zero and the level is cleared; let one bee touch the dog and a "Level Failed!" banner appears. GamePix describes hundreds of levels plus daily challenges.

How to play Protect My Dog
Each level is one sketch and one wait. What you draw before the bees leave the hive is all the protection the dog gets.

Start a level
Press the blue Play button on the title screen, or open the Level screen to pick a stage you have already reached.

Read the scene
Find the dog and the source of danger. On level 1 that is a beehive in the upper left, with the dog sitting on a grass ledge below it.

Draw the barrier
Hold the left mouse button and drag. A black line follows the pointer, and the ink bar at the top of the screen shrinks as you draw.

Let go and wait
Release the button. The line falls and settles under physics, the bees come out, and the alarm clock counts down from 10. Reach zero with the dog untouched to pass.

What sets Protect My Dog apart
Your line obeys gravity
The drawing is not a fixed wall. In our test a straight stroke above the dog tipped and slid once released, so a shape resting on the ground holds better.
A 10-second hold-out
The alarm clock in the top-right corner starts at 10 on level 1. The bees keep pressing against your barrier for the whole count, not just on first contact.
Ink bar with three stars
The bar under the level number shrinks as you draw and sits above three stars, so a shorter drawing keeps more of the bar filled.
Four side modes
Besides Play and Level, the title screen has Love Mode, Chase Mode, Laser Mode and Teleport Mode buttons, plus a shop icon in the corner.
Tips for Protect My Dog
- Anchor the drawing. Start and end the line on the ground or the ledge so it cannot tip over when it drops.
- Close the gaps. Bees find any opening; a dome or box shape that meets the ground on both sides leaves them no way in.
- Draw once, draw fast. The swarm only starts after you release, so take your time planning, then make one clean stroke.
- Watch the ink bar. A long scribble drains the bar; a tight shape around the dog uses less and may keep more stars lit.
- Retry from the fail screen. The green Restart button puts you back on the same level instead of returning to the title screen.
