Planet Merge: from grey space rocks up to the Sun
Planet Merge is a space-themed drop-and-combine puzzle in which you release celestial bodies into a container and join identical ones into larger bodies. A run starts with small grey cratered rocks. A chart on the left side of the screen shows the full ladder of 12 bodies, passing a red planet, a blue-green one and a ringed giant before the Sun at the top. You aim by dragging sideways along a green dotted guide and let go to drop, while a score box above the container counts up.

How to play Planet Merge
Planet Merge uses one gesture for everything: drag to position, release to drop. The skill lies in where you let each body fall.

Start from the title screen
Press the round play button in the middle. A gear in the top-left corner opens the settings.

Line up the drop
Hold the body above the container and drag it left or right. The green dotted line shows the column it will fall down.

Release to drop
Let go and the body falls into the container on top of whatever is already there.

Pair identical bodies
Two identical bodies combine into the next, larger one on the chart. Work upward toward the planets and, at the top, the Sun.

Desktop
- Hold the left mouse button to grab the Planet Merge body
- Move the mouse sideways; the dotted guide follows
- Release the button to drop it into the container
Phone & tablet
- Put a finger on the space rock and slide it along the top of the container
- Lift the finger to let the body fall
- Turn the phone sideways, since Planet Merge uses a landscape screen

Tips for Planet Merge
- Keep the chart in view. The column on the left tells you what each merge will produce next.
- Push big bodies to one side. Grouping larger planets in one area leaves open space for small rocks to pair up.
- Drop matches next to each other. Use the dotted guide to put a new body right beside its twin.
- Watch the white line near the top. Keep the pile well below it so you still have room to aim.
- Do not rush. Taking a moment to line up each drop costs nothing and avoids stranded rocks.
