Parking Panic: slide the traffic aside and get the red car out
Parking Panic is a 2D sliding-block logic puzzle from Playtouch in which you shift parked cars and buses around a packed lot until your red car has an open route to the exit. Only one vehicle has to escape per level; every other car and bus is an obstacle you slide out of its way. That single-target goal separates it from the two other parking games on What Games Play: My Parking Lot is a 3D lot where you release every car and earn a fee for each, and Traffic Escape sends cars through road crossings along pre-set routes. Parking Panic is also the only one of the three built for a tall portrait screen, with 100 levels unlocked one after another from a level-select grid.

How to play Parking Panic
Each level is a fixed puzzle: a red car boxed in by other vehicles. You win the level by moving the blockers — not the whole lot — until the red car can drive out.
- 1
Pick a level
Press the green play button, then choose a level from the grid. At the start only level 1 is open; the rest show a padlock.
- 2
Find the red car's exit
Locate the red car and the way out of the lot, then trace which cars and buses sit on that line.
- 3
Slide the blockers
Swipe a vehicle on a touchscreen, or hold the left mouse button and drag it, to slide it into free space.
- 4
Drive the red car out
When the path is empty, slide the red car through the exit to finish the level and open the next padlock.

What sets Parking Panic apart
One car to free, not a whole lot
Every level has a single goal — get the red car out. The other vehicles only matter as obstacles, which keeps each puzzle focused on one route.
Buses take up more room
GamePix describes the blockers as cars and buses. A bus is longer than a car, so it needs a longer empty stretch before it can slide out of the red car's way.
100 levels in a paged grid
Levels sit ten to a page in the level-select screen, with padlocks on the ones you have not reached yet and arrow buttons to page through them.
Made for an upright screen
The 600 × 800 portrait layout fits a phone held vertically, and the swipe control matches how the pieces move.
Tips for Parking Panic
- Work backwards from the exit. Start with the vehicle closest to the red car's exit and ask what has to move so that it can move.
- Try the short vehicles first. A car usually needs less empty space to slide than a bus does, so it is the quickest way to open a gap.
- Keep the move count low. GamePix's own hint is that solving a level in the fewest moves gives the best score.
- Undo a dead end by sliding back. If a slide traps another vehicle, move it back to where it was instead of adding more moves around it.
- Count the gaps before you swipe. Note every empty space on the board first; each slide you make has to end in one of them.
Who is Parking Panic for?
Rush-hour-style puzzle fans
Players who like the classic sliding-block car puzzle with one target vehicle.
Commuters on a phone
The portrait layout and swipe input suit one-handed play on a phone held upright.
Players who want a clear finish line
100 numbered levels give a visible count of how far through the game you are.
Levels and move count
A level is solved the moment the red car leaves the lot, and solving it unlocks the next padlocked button in the level grid. GamePix's hint for the game says that finishing a puzzle in the fewest moves earns the best score, so the real measure of a solution is how few slides it takes.
