Nut Sort Color Puzzle Game is a color-sorting logic puzzle in which you move hexagonal nuts from bolt to bolt until each bolt holds nuts of only one color. There is a single movement rule, stated in the game's own instructions: a nut can go onto a nut of the same color or onto an empty bolt, and nowhere else. Each new level adds more bolts, more colors and tighter layouts, and bonus tools are available when you get stuck. How to play Nut Sort Color Puzzle Game
If you have played a water-sort or ball-sort puzzle, the idea is the same with nuts on threaded bolts. The nuts stack on the bolts, and each move has to land where the rule allows.

The opening level has two bolts. The hand points at the bolt holding a single green nut; click it to pick that nut up.

Click the bolt with the other green nuts to drop it there, completing a bolt of one color.

Later levels add bolts and colors. Every move must put a nut onto the same color or onto an empty bolt.

- Keep an empty bolt free as long as you can. An empty bolt accepts any color, which makes it the most useful space on the board.
- Finish colors that are nearly done. A bolt that already holds most of one color is the natural home for the rest of it.
- Look at what sits under the top nut. Moving a nut also uncovers the one beneath it; check that the next nut has somewhere to go.
- Count each color before you start. Knowing how many nuts of a color are buried tells you how many moves that color will take.
- Save bonuses for real dead ends. Use them when no legal move remains, not on the first hard-looking board.
