Mosaic Puzzle Art: rebuild the picture one hexagon at a time
Mosaic Puzzle Art is a portrait picture-copying puzzle in which you recreate a mosaic image on a blank grid of hexagons. You choose one of nine colors, tap cells to fill them, and press CHECK when your grid matches the target; an eye button shows that target whenever you need it. The first image is an apple — red body, green leaves, an orange stem, a yellow highlight and a row of blue along the bottom. The picture menu shows nine cards per page, with unsolved pictures hidden behind question marks, and GamePix says each finished puzzle unlocks the next. It is an HTML5 game released on GamePix in December 2021. Its listing talks about dragging tiles, but the build we tested fills cells by tapping them.

How to play Mosaic Puzzle Art
Each picture is a pattern of colored hexagons. Your job is to reproduce it exactly on an empty grid of the same shape.

Open a picture
Tap an unlocked card on the picture menu. At the start only the apple is visible; the other cards show question marks.

Look at the target
Tap the eye button in the top bar to see the finished mosaic, then close it with the red X to return to your grid.

Fill the cells
Tap a color in the palette (a tick marks the active one), then tap each hexagon that should have that color. Dragging across cells did not fill them in our test, so tap one at a time.

Press CHECK
When your grid matches the target, press CHECK. If anything is missing or wrong, a WRONG! banner appears and you can keep editing.

Hexagons instead of squares
The canvas is a honeycomb, so each cell has six neighbors and slanted lines in a picture follow the hex rows.
Target on demand
The eye button shows the finished mosaic at any point, so the puzzle tests careful copying rather than memory.
A strict CHECK button
CHECK only accepts a full match. Our test with three red cells placed returned a WRONG! banner.
Pictures unlock in order
Unsolved pictures sit behind question-mark cards, nine to a page, and open as you finish earlier ones.
Tips for Mosaic Puzzle Art
- Count the rows on the target first. Note how many hexagons each color covers per row before you fill anything.
- Work one color at a time. Selecting red once and filling every red cell saves switching back and forth through the palette.
- Start from a straight line. On the apple, the row of blue cells along the bottom is the easiest reference point.
- Open the target often. The eye button has no cost, so compare your grid with it after each color.
- Press CHECK only when done. A partial picture returned WRONG! in our test, so fill every colored cell before checking.

Checking and unlocking
Mosaic Puzzle Art shows no score counter. Progress is counted in pictures: the CHECK button compares your grid with the target and either accepts it or shows WRONG!, and according to GamePix, completing a puzzle unlocks the next level. Locked pictures appear as question-mark cards in the menu, nine per page, with an arrow button leading to the next page. The top bar also carries a restart button and a home button for returning to the picture menu.
