Kofi Adventure: 30 padlocked levels between Kofi and the princess
Kofi Adventure is a 2D pixel platformer in which Kofi, a small spiky-haired hero, runs and jumps through a series of short levels on his mission to save a princess. The title screen and the first stages are set in front of a blue city skyline, with purple brick floors and floating purple platforms. The level-select screen is a grid of 30 buttons, six across and five down; at the start only level 1 is open and the other 29 show padlocks. Inside a level the screen is almost bare: a "LEVEL:1" label at the top and a house-shaped button in the corner, with no lives or score counter. Level 1 is short, and in our test a run to the right with one jump was enough to reach level 2, where a cannon starts firing shells across the ground.

How to play Kofi Adventure
Level 1 fits on one screen of city street. Cross it from left to right past the enemy and hazards, and the game moves on to the next level.

The grid shows 30 levels. Level 1 is the only one without a padlock when you begin.

Run and jump
Move Kofi with the arrow keys and jump with the Up arrow. Use the purple platforms to get over enemies and gaps.

Reach the far side
Keep heading right. When the level is cleared, the screen fades and the label at the top changes to the next level number.

There is no lives counter, score or coin tally on screen, only the level number and a home button, which leaves the whole frame for the level itself.
New hazards from level 2
Level 2 adds a cannon that fires shells along the ground, on top of the round dark enemies from the first level.
Tips for Kofi Adventure
- Check the raised ledges. In level 1 the dark round enemy sits on a floating purple platform, not on the street, so look up before you jump.
- Time jumps over cannon shells. In level 2 the cannon fires along the ground; wait for a shell to pass or jump it as it arrives.
- Do not overthink level 1. It is a short warm-up; reaching the right side with one well-timed jump was enough in our run.
- Look for secret paths. GamePix hints that hidden paths reveal secrets, so try the ledges that lead away from the main route.
- Read the level label. The text at the top centre tells you which of the 30 levels you are on, since there is no other progress counter.

Levels and progress
Kofi Adventure measures progress by levels, not points. The HUD shows only the current level number ("LEVEL:1") and a home button; we saw no score, coin tally or lives counter. Clearing a level unlocks the next of the 30 padlocked buttons on the level grid. GamePix mentions power-ups, puzzles and bosses later in the game; we did not reach them, so we cannot say how they work.
