Island Expander: turn a patch of sand into a working island

How to play Island Expander
You spawn on a sandy island with palm trees and open sea around it. Everything else — materials, recipes, new ground — comes from working the island with your tools.

Look around and walk
Move the mouse to look and use WASD or the arrow keys to walk across the island.

Press 1 to 4 to hold the pickaxe, axe, shovel or the fourth tool, then left-click to hit a tree, rock or patch of ground.

Craft from what you collect
Open the backpack with Tab to check your materials and press E to interact with objects. The loop, as the game describes it, is collect resources, unlock recipes, craft items.
