Golf Solitaire: one rank up or down, any suit
Golf Solitaire is a single-deck patience card game by Codethislab in which you clear seven columns of face-up cards onto one pile. A table card can go to the pile if it is one rank higher or lower than the pile's top card, whatever its suit. The deal is 35 cards in seven columns of five, plus a face-down stock and a single face-up starting card. When no table card fits, you turn a new card from the stock. In Easy mode Kings and Aces connect; the tutorial lists that link as an Easy mode rule, and Hard is the other option on the mode screen.

How to play Golf Solitaire
Golf Solitaire does not use foundations or build columns. Every move takes a card off the table and puts it on one pile, so the order you pick cards in is the whole game.

Choose Easy or Hard
After the play button, a CHOOSE MODE screen offers Easy and Hard. A two-page tutorial explains the rules before the first deal.

Play a card to the pile
Click the bottom card of any column if it is one rank above or below the face-up pile card. Suits do not matter: a 9 of hearts goes on an 8 or a 10 of any suit.

Draw when stuck
If nothing on the table fits, click the face-down stock to turn a new card onto the pile.

Empty all seven columns
The deal is won when every table card is gone. If the stock runs out with no playable card left, the deal cannot be cleared.

What Golf Solitaire gives you
Two rule sets
Easy lets an Ace go on a King or a 2, and a King on a Queen or an Ace. The tutorial presents that link as an Easy mode rule; Hard is the alternative.

A stopwatch at the top of the table counts up from 00:00, so you can compare how long each deal takes.

The first deal opens with a two-page guide, and the ? button brings the rules back at any time.
Tips for Golf Solitaire
- Look for long runs. A chain like 5-6-7-6-5 removes five cards before you touch the stock.
- Prefer cards that uncover others. Removing a card from a tall column exposes a new option.
- Draw only when you must. Every stock card you turn early is one you cannot use later.
- Think a few moves ahead. When two cards fit, pick the one that leaves another follow-up move.
- Start in Easy mode. The King-Ace link gives more ways to keep a chain going while you learn.

A deal is won when all 35 table cards have moved to the pile. The stopwatch at the top records how long you take, which gives you a time to beat on the next deal.
