Favorite Puzzles: a configurable jigsaw table with hints and rotation

Favorite Puzzles is a jigsaw puzzle game by RAD BROTHERS, also released as an Android and iOS app, in which you assemble photos from a tray of pieces on the right side of the screen. Before each puzzle you set the piece count — GamePix gives the range as 6 to 600 — and choose whether pieces need rotating. A toolbar holds Hint, Zoom in, Zoom out, Sample, Show edges and Shuffle. The first puzzle is a 16-piece tutorial of a cat with green eyes; after that you browse picture packs, a Daily puzzle and a Create button for your own images. That makes it the more configurable of the two jigsaw games on What Games Play: Jigsaw Surprise is a portrait game with three fixed difficulties and pieces scattered loose on a table, while Favorite Puzzles is landscape and lets you tune every puzzle.

How to play Favorite Puzzles

Every puzzle starts from a setup card. Once it begins, pieces wait in a column on the right and you drag them onto the picture area.

Pick a picture
From NEW GAME, page through the picture boxes, open Categories, try the Daily puzzle, or press Create to upload an image of your own.

Set the difficulty
On the setup card, step the piece count left or right (24, 54, 96 and more) and switch Form and With rotation on or off. The card shows the emerald reward before you start.

Place the pieces
Drag a piece from the tray onto the board; it locks in when it reaches its spot. Show edges filters the tray to border pieces, and Sample overlays the full photo.

Finish and collect
The final screen states the piece count, your time and the emeralds earned, with buttons for Achievements, Leaderboards, Share and Download.

Rotation and Realistic mode

A With rotation switch doubles the reward (the card marks it x2), and Settings has a separate Realistic game mode toggle.

Hints that show the exact slot

Press Hint, pick a piece, and a white silhouette marks where it belongs. You start with five hints.

Emeralds, achievements, leaderboards

Solving puzzles earns emeralds to unlock picture boxes; CrazyGames counts 53 achievements and a weekly tournament.

Tips for Favorite Puzzles

Filter to the border first. Show edges leaves only edge pieces in the tray, so you can build the frame before the middle.
Keep Sample handy. The Sample button lays the full photo over the board, which helps in areas of similar color.
Ration your hints. You begin with five, and each one reveals the target spot for a single piece.
Add rotation only when you want the reward. Turning it on doubles emeralds, but pieces may then need turning before they fit.
Come back through Load game. Large puzzles take a while, and the main menu has a Load game button next to NEW GAME.

The reward depends on your setup: a 54-piece puzzle listed 5 emeralds, and the rotation switch doubles it. The results screen records your solve time (2:36 for our 16-piece tutorial) and offers +5 more for watching a video. Emeralds unlock the picture boxes that are not free; CrazyGames also lists 53 achievements and a weekly leaderboard tournament with prizes.
