Worms Zone: eat, grow heavy, and make the other worms crash
Worms Zone is a 2D top-down .io snake game in which you steer a worm around an online arena, eat food to gain weight, and try to become the biggest worm on the leaderboard. GamePix and CrazyGames credit the game to Wild Spike, and the in-game terms screen belongs to Azur Games. The worm follows your mouse pointer; you can slide over your own body without harm, but running your head into another worm eliminates you, and a worm that runs into you turns into food for you to eat. Potions on the map add effects such as a wider food magnet or a zoomed-out view. The classic Snake game on What Games Play works the other way round: it is a solo game steered with four direction keys, and biting your own tail ends the run.

How to play Worms Zone
The rule set is short: eat to grow, avoid other worms' bodies, and turn their mistakes into your meal.

Accept the terms and press To battle!
The first launch shows Azur Games' terms of use; accept them, then press the green To battle! button on the main menu.

Steer toward food
Your worm moves at a steady pace toward the mouse pointer. Cheese, fruit and cake lie across the blue arena; each bite adds to your weight.

Grab potions and coins
Potion bottles give temporary effects, and coins go into your stash for the main-menu shop and wardrobe.

Cut rivals off
Move your body across a rival's path. If its head hits you, it is eliminated and leaves behind all the food it had eaten.

Infinity has no time limit, Time is a 7-minute round with double points and coins, Treasure Hunter hides chests on the map, and Seasonal modes appear around holidays such as Christmas, Halloween and Easter.
Six potion effects
CrazyGames lists six potions: a wider pickup radius, five times the food per bite, markers where worms died, extra speed, tighter steering and a zoomed-out view.
Weight-based leaderboard
The top-left list ranks the arena's players by weight. In our match it showed the top nine plus our own rank, 124th of 126.

The Worm wardrobe on the main menu holds skins; more colorful designs unlock as your profile level rises.
Tips for Worms Zone
- Avoid the middle at first. GamePix advises staying away from the map center early, where it is easy to get surrounded.
- Boost while you are small. Boosting costs more as you grow, so use it freely early and sparingly once you are large.
- Look for the blue potion. It multiplies food eaten by five, which CrazyGames calls the fastest way to grow.
- Don't overcommit to kills. Chasing rivals too aggressively is the common way to crash into one yourself.
- Menu upgrades boost potions, not your worm. CrazyGames notes that shop upgrades improve power-up strength or duration rather than base speed or size.

Weight, coins and challenges
Your score in Worms Zone is your worm's weight, shown next to your name on the arena leaderboard. Eating food and the remains of crashed worms adds weight, while boosting burns some of it off. Coins picked up in the arena are saved for the main menu. During a match, a banner at the top can set a timed challenge; ours asked for a weight of 40,000 with 4 minutes 42 seconds on the clock and a chest as the reward.
