Wacky Flip: the landing completes the trick

A successful stunt needs more than rotation. You first build a jump, control the athlete’s flips in the air and prepare a stable landing on a platform. Wacky Flip combines parkour and gymnastics with ragdoll movement, making the timing of each press and release central to the challenge.

Your stunt sequence at a glance

  • Eight environments contain ten flip challenges each
  • Finish the current challenge before the next one becomes available
  • Pike, Scissor and Knee Tuck are among the skills unlocked through progression

Four inputs from crouch to landing

Use the opening basketball-court challenges to learn this sequence before adding extra rotations.

  1. 1

    Hold to prepare the jump

Click or touch and keep holding to crouch. The preparation phase sets up the jump; release when you want the athlete to leave the starting surface.

  2. 2

    Hold again while airborne

After takeoff, press and hold again to flip. Keeping the input held continues the rotation, so pay attention to your height and body position rather than aiming for a fixed hold duration.

  3. 3

    Release to prepare touchdown

Let go to get ready for landing and finish the jump. Completing a challenge opens the next one, while later locations introduce different heights and obstacles that require fresh timing.

Press-and-release stunt controls

Mouse input for Wacky Flip

  • Click and hold to crouch, then release to launch the athlete.
  • During the jump, click and hold a second time to rotate; release that hold to prepare the landing.

Touch input for the same sequence

  • In Wacky Flip, hold your finger down to crouch, then lift it to jump.
  • Touch and hold again in the air to flip; lift your finger again before landing.

How the stunt course develops

Rotation with ragdoll motion

Flip attempts use dynamic character movement. Mistimed control can leave the athlete tumbling instead of standing on the platform.

An ordered challenge route

The Court, Frontyard, The Site and their later versions lead into The Playground stages. Each environment adds ten challenges rather than offering an endless survival track.

Tricks beyond the opening jump

Progress unlocks additional skills. Multiple flips and trick combinations can increase your score, but still require a completed landing.

Training habits for cleaner backflips

  • First repeat a simple jump until you can recognize when to release for landing.
  • When a platform height changes, adjust your timing rather than copying the previous challenge’s hold duration.
  • Add another rotation only after you have enough control to stop flipping before contact.

Who may want to practice Wacky Flip

Timing-game players

A small set of inputs produces a challenge based on release timing and judging airborne movement.

Stunt experimenters

Unlockable tricks offer variations after the basic crouch, launch and landing sequence becomes familiar.

Scores, multipliers and stage access

Consecutive successful jumps and multiple-flip combinations increase your multiplier. Add advanced tricks as you unlock them, while keeping enough control to finish on the platform. Stage access follows completion: clear the current challenge to unlock the next one.

Questions about completing a flip

What is the order of Wacky Flip inputs?+

Hold to crouch, release to jump, hold again to flip and release once more to get ready for landing.

How many challenges are in Wacky Flip?+

Eight levels with ten challenges in each, starting at The Court and ending at The Playground 2.

Can I use touch instead of a mouse for the flip?+

Yes. Mouse clicks and touchscreen presses both use the same hold-and-release sequence for crouching, jumping, flipping and preparing a landing.

Why focus on landing before adding trick combinations?+

The stunt must finish on the platform to complete the challenge. Extra rotations are useful only when you can end them in time for touchdown.
