Tower Crush: arm every floor and bring the other tower down first
Tower Crush is a 2D tower battle strategy game by Impossible Apps in which two towers face each other and each floor fires a weapon at the floor you tell it to target. Every level is a new opponent. You win by destroying all of the enemy's floors before they destroy yours; when a floor falls its weapon goes with it, and the tower's owner, who sits on top, drops down a level. Between battles a shop lets you add floors, strengthen them, and buy or upgrade weapons such as cannons, lasers and flame guns. That makes it a different game from Tower Defense Clash and Cursed Treasure 2, the two tower defense titles on What Games Play: there is no enemy path and no waves, just a head-on exchange of fire where choosing targets matters as much as your build.

How to play Tower Crush
Your tower stands on one side, your opponent's on the other, with both health bars at the top of the screen. Floors fire on their own once you have given them a target.

Pick a level from the tower
The level select is itself a tower, one floor per level. Locked levels are chained shut; each open level shows three star slots.

Select your floors
Click one of your own floors to select it, or click and drag across several floors to select them together.

Choose a target
Click a floor on the enemy tower. Your selected floors keep attacking it until it is destroyed.

Fire power-ups
Watch the meter between the health bars. When it fills, click a power-up icon to repair a floor, call down fire, or use another equipped ability.

What sets Tower Crush apart
One weapon per floor
Each floor carries a single weapon, so adding floors is how you add firepower. Poki lists ten weapon types, from machine guns and cannons to teslas, ice cannons and plasma cannons.
Three power-ups on one cooldown
You bring up to three power-ups into a fight, and they all share one charge meter. Poki names Shield, Healing, Thunderstorm and Ice among them.
Stars measure your tower's condition
The stars you earn at the end of a level reflect how intact your own tower is, not how fast you won.
Eight classes to fight as
Poki lists Warrior, Paladin, Undead, Orc, Viking, Wizard, Fire Elemental and Stone Golem as the classes you can build a strategy around.
Tips for Tower Crush
- Buy a few upgrades early. GamePix suggests spending on some basic upgrades after the first level, then pushing through levels to build up gold for the bigger purchases.
- Focus fire on one floor. Several of your floors can share one target; knocking out an armed floor removes its weapon from the fight.
- Watch your own damage. Your star count depends on how intact your tower is, so repairing a floor can be worth more than one more hit.
- Remember the enemy has power-ups too. Opponents use abilities as well, so a lead can disappear quickly.

The level-select screen in the embed started us with 1,000 coins and a crown counter at zero.
