Math Facts: the math drill game where the show grows with every answer
Math Facts is an arithmetic drill game built around one idea: solving problems should feel like a party that keeps getting bigger. Each round gives you 10 problems from one of 58 skills, from number bonds to 10 and one-digit addition up to times tables, long division, decimals, fractions and percentages. Every correct answer adds a layer to the screen and the music: confetti, a marching crowd, fireworks and a faster beat pile on until the last problem lands. Fibo, a small amber fox, picks up each digit you type and carries it into the answer box. Get one wrong and he tumbles over, gets back up, and you answer again. There is no game over, and nothing you earn is ever taken away.

How to play Math Facts
The first launch shows a short guide, then you pick how to get your problems. My Level is the recommended path: a skill check finds where you are, then the tree unlocks the next skill as you master each one. Level 1 to Level 6 give you a whole level in one round, Practice drills one skill you choose from the tree, and Review brings back skills you have not touched for a while.
- 1
Pick a mode on the title screen
Tap My Level for the adaptive path, a Level button for a fixed set, or open the Skill Tree to practice one skill on its own.
- 2
Read the problem and fill the cells
Answers go into the dotted cells, one digit each. Column problems and long division also ask for the working, so you type the in-between digits too.
- 3
Type with the pad or the keyboard
Tap the on-screen pad or press the number keys. Backspace removes the last digit. Fibo carries every digit you enter into place.
- 4
Finish the round and check the results
Solving all problems scores 100 points. If 80 percent or more were right on the first try, a timed Extra round opens and lets you push past 100.

What makes Math Facts different from a worksheet
Effects that build up
Intensity rises with each problem in the round: background, confetti, a cheering crowd, lights and screen shake are layered in one by one, ending in a finale such as a fireworks show or a parade.
Music that speeds up
All music and sound effects are synthesized with the Web Audio API. The tempo climbs from about 113 to 128 BPM across a round, and the key rises on the last problem.
A skill tree of 58 skills
Skills are linked by prerequisites and marked as locked, learning or mastered with up to three stars. Times tables games, long division games and fraction drills all live in one tree, and skills you have not practiced for a while show rust and are pushed into Review.
306 trophies and 47 collection items
Trophies track streaks, accuracy, combos and totals. Unlocking them opens new colors and costumes for Fibo, new crowds, new songs and new finales.
Nothing is ever taken away
Wrong answers show Oops and let you try again. Stars and trophies never expire, and growth records only show the numbers that improved.
Tips for a higher score
- First-try accuracy matters more than speed. The Extra round only opens when 80 percent or more of the basic problems were right on the first attempt.
- Answer the next problem while the celebration is still running. Combos are timed, and keeping them alive multiplies the Cheer counter up to 2x.
- In column problems, type the working digits in the order the cells light up. The place values are aligned so you can read the carry at a glance.
- Use Review before starting a new level. Rusty skills cost you first-try accuracy in Level drills and My Level alike.
Who Math Facts is for
Kids in elementary school
The 58 skills follow Japan's elementary school calculation curriculum, from number bonds in Level 1 to fractions and percentages in Level 6. Times tables arrive in Level 2, earlier than in most US classrooms.
Parents who want a five-minute routine
One round takes two to three minutes. Daily quests and the calendar make it easy to see whether today's math practice happened.
Adults keeping mental math sharp
Level 5 and Level 6 work as mental math games for adults: multi-digit multiplication, long division with remainders, decimals, fractions, GCF and rounding at a pace that stays interesting.
Scoring, Cheer and the Extra round
Solving all basic problems in a round is worth 100 points, however long it takes. The Cheer counter is a separate number that grows with every correct answer and grows faster while a combo is alive. A combo window starts at three seconds and gets longer at higher levels; answering inside it raises the multiplier step by step up to 2x. When the basic problems are done, the results screen shows your time, first-try rate, Cheer total and what improved since your last rounds. If the first-try rate was 80 percent or higher, a timed Extra round opens: each extra problem adds points on top of the 100 and the tempo rises every three problems. Every mode also feeds the skill tree, where a skill becomes mastered after enough first-try correct answers and further practice earns up to three stars.
Questions about Math Facts
Is Math Facts free?+
Yes. It is a free math drill game that runs in the browser with no signup, no purchases and no random rewards. Everything is unlocked by meeting conditions in the game.
Is Math Facts the same as Dopa Drill?+
No. Math Facts is an unofficial game built on the MIT-licensed source code of Dopa Drill by gear_machine. The problem generators and the build-up of effects come from that code; the fox Fibo, the name, the logo and the English level structure are original to What Games Play.
What math does it cover?+
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division from one-digit numbers up to multi-digit column methods and long division, plus decimals, fractions, percentages, rounding and greatest common factors, organized into 58 skills across six levels.
What happens when I get an answer wrong?+
The cell shows Oops, Fibo tumbles over, and you answer the same problem again. Wrong answers lower your first-try rate for that round but never remove stars, trophies or unlocked items.
Where is my progress saved?+
In your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded, so clearing site data or switching browsers starts you over. Settings has a Reset everything button if you want a clean start.
Can I turn off the effects and sound?+
Yes. The note icon on the play screen mutes the music, and Settings has a Motion slider from 0 to 100 percent that reduces shaking, flashes and particles. Motion defaults to 0 when your device asks for reduced motion.
Privacy
Math Facts stores settings, history, skill mastery, trophies and collection choices in your browser only. No account, no analytics inside the game and no network requests for progress. The source code the game is built on is MIT-licensed (see the FAQ); the fox Fibo, the name and the logo are original.
