Moscow Metro Driver 3D: run the Kalininskaya line from the cab
Moscow Metro Driver 3D is a 3D train driving simulator by alexkab in which you drive Moscow underground trains between the eight stations of Line 8, Kalininskaya, from Tretyakovskaya to Novokosino. Instead of a throttle key you move a lever on the left of the screen through power notches X1 to X4 and brake notches T1 to T3, keeping under the speed limit shown in red at the top. At each station you stop within three metres of the mark, open the doors and play the real recorded announcements of the Moscow metro. Four train types are included, from the 81-703 Type E to the 81-765 Moscow. It sits in our Racing section as the one game where speed is something to limit, not maximise.

How to play Moscow Metro Driver 3D
New drivers should start with Training, which teaches the cab. Driver's Mode then gives you the whole line.

Set up the shift
In Driver's Mode pick a train with the arrows beside its picture, set the departure time (10:00 by default) and check the Kalininskaya line map, then press Start.

Power away
Drag the lever on the left from 0 up to X1, X2, X3 or X4. The top-right panel shows your speed in km/h and the metres left to the next station.

Brake into the platform
Pull the lever down to T1, T2 or T3 to slow. Stop no more than 3 metres from the stopping point.

Serve the passengers
Press the doors button at the bottom right to open them, and the speaker button to play the station announcement.

Desktop
- Drag the left-hand lever to X1–X4 for power or T1–T3 for braking
- Leave the lever at 0 to coast at a steady speed
- Bottom-right buttons: doors, announcement, headlights, and hold for the horn
- WASD and the mouse walk you around a station once you leave the cab

- Every cab control is an on-screen lever or button, so the train drives by touch
- The camera button in the top-left corner switches views
- Play with the phone sideways; the game is landscape

When you stop at a platform a "Get off the train" button appears, and you can walk the station with WASD and the mouse.
Tips for Moscow Metro Driver 3D
- Do Training first. The game offers it as the first card and describes it as the way to learn to drive a train.
- Watch the metre counter. Start braking well before it reaches zero; the doors only open within 3 metres of the mark.
- Coast in neutral. CrazyGames notes that leaving the lever at 0 holds your current speed.
- Do not overshoot. If you miss a stop, there is nothing to do but carry on to the next station.
- Look back at the passengers. The camera button includes a view inside the carriage, where you can see riders on the benches.

What counts as a good run
There is no points counter on the driving screen. What the HUD tracks is your speed against the red speed limit (40 in our first stretch of tunnel) and the distance to the next station, which began at 697 metres. A good run is one that stays under the limit, stops within 3 metres of each platform mark so the doors open, and plays the announcement at every stop along the line.
