Sokoballs: Ball-pushing puzzle
Sokoballs is a single-player, pixel-art puzzle. Walk across the grid and push striped balls onto pink switches. You cannot pull balls back, so reaching the right side matters as much as the destination.
Quick facts

- Grid movement
- Push-only puzzles
- Pixel art
How to play
Look at the whole board before making the first push.
- 1
Inspect the board
Find the balls and switches, then plan their routes. Check where your character must stand for each push.
- 2
Keep access open
Walk behind a ball and push toward an empty square. Leave room to approach from another direction later.
- 3
Fill the switches
Cover every switch with a ball. If a ball gets trapped elsewhere, restart and try a different order.
Controls
Keyboard
- Use the arrow keys to walk and push. R restarts, Q quits the level and M toggles audio.
Touchscreen
- Touch controls have not been confirmed for this version. A device with a keyboard is recommended.
What shapes the puzzle
Plan each push
Walls and narrow passages make push order important. Even a short route can block the next ball.
Tips
- Avoid corners without switches: a ball pushed into one may be impossible to move again.
- Keep a walking route behind unfinished balls. Filling the nearest switch first is not always best.
Who it suits
For patient puzzlers
For players who enjoy planning, spatial puzzles and retrying with a better sequence.
Steps and progress
Steps tracks movement; the ball counter shows progress toward the switches. Complete the layout first, then try reducing unnecessary walking on a replay.
