Nitro Burnout: an open-world drift simulator with real driver aids to switch off
Nitro Burnout is a 3D car driving and drift simulator by Lucky Try, set in an open city you explore from a chase camera with a minimap in the corner. It opens in a garage rather than on a start line: you pick a car by its Speed, Handling and Acceleration bars, then Upgrade, Customize or Drive. Drive leads to two modes, Free Mode and Traffic Mode. What separates it from arcade racers is the list of driving systems on the keyboard: anti-lock brakes on T, electronic stability control on Y, a drift toggle on B, a handbrake on Space and a repair key on R. Arrows on each side cycle the cars; compare the Speed, Handling and Acceleration bars before pressing Drive.

Green $ icons appear on the road and on the minimap; drive through them to add to your balance.

- Learn the car with ABS and ESP on, then switch them off one at a time once you want longer slides.
- Check the B toggle before you set off. Drift mode stays on until you press B again, so know which state you are driving in.
- Press Q instead of reversing out of trouble. It puts you back on the road; R repairs the damage.
- Open the map with M to find the nearest $ icons instead of driving at random.
- Look at the reward buttons in the garage. The top-right corner offers +100 and +2000 cash and +5 gold before you spend anything.
